Orchestra is a workflow web service offered by e-Val.

Behind this service runs a workflow engine that assigns tasks driven by a process. Customers put their service processes in Orchestra and perform their task management via the web. Users of the service, log on to Orchestra to find their activities waiting to be executed. When an activity is executed, Orchestra will progress the task to the next step in the process.

The Benefits and features of using Orchestra are numerous:

 

1. The applied processes become enforced and visible.

2. Process changes/optimizations can easily be implemented without having to explain it to all users. Orchestra will automatically apply the new process and guide the user through the process

3. Process metrics and dashboards are automatically generated for the use of process management.

4. Orchestra shares all necessary info with all actors in the process across time zones and locations. Especially the integration of Orchestra with e-mail and the possibility to upload documents ensures that all info is captured and stored in a central place

5. Orchestra provides an audit trail for all actions that are tracked through Orchestra. This is one of the requirements for SOX compliancy

6. Orchestra is offered in an ASP mode. Hence, no investment in HW or SW is needed.

 

Customers only need an Internet browser and Internet access. This allows for a risk free trial at almost no cost before rolling Orchestra out to the complete organization.
